The Transportation and Economic Development Information System is a web-based geographic information portal designed to improve the relationship and data sharing between transportation and economic development professionals. With an Internet connection, a decision maker using TEDIS can view, query, and display pertinent transportation and economic development data.

Datasets that can be accessed provide information regarding:

  • Aerial Photography

  • Transportation Corridors

  • Business Locations

  • Environmental Data

  • Demographics

  • Master Land-Use Plans

  • Industrial Sites and many more

Participating in TEDIS comes at a fraction of the cost of owning expensive hardware, software, and the expertise of consistently updating, populating, staffing and maintaining a private GIS system. Collaborative data can be easily added to or retrieved from the system by multiple entities to complete datasets that serve mutual interests. The system is designed to disseminate important data for uses in both the private and public sectors.
